With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and General Management, I have built my career around creating the pillars that drive successful and sustainable businesses. From developing policies, procedures, and documentation to managing performance reviews and navigating complex acts, regulations, and awards, I have seen firsthand how the right structures support both compliance and culture.

At Emerson Consultancy, we see building a functioning HR framework much like building a house. First, you need the foundations, solid policies and procedures, that provide structure, stability and reliability. Only then can you move the family in and create the home, knowing the foundations are safe. In the same way, once the HR cornerstones are in place, your people can thrive and your culture can grow with confidence.

I believe the core of effective HR and a thriving workplace lies in consistency, transparency and alignment. Having held both HR Management and General Management positions, I bring a unique perspective that balances business imperatives with the needs of people and culture. This dual insight allows me to design solutions that work in the boardroom and on the ground.

Through Emerson Consultancy, I work with businesses to set up these best practices and provide them with the documents, processes and tools to manage confidently on their own. The aim is not to create dependency but empowerment, ensuring owners, senior management and operational staff have a clear cornerstone for what is expected, what is protected and the steps to take when challenges arise.
